ABOUT US Massawepie History

The Massawepie Alumni Association was organized in 2000. Our mission is to provide "Spirit, Service, and Support" to the Massawepie Scout Camps. Any person who is at least 18 years of age and has a connection to Massawepie (former camper, leader, staff member, volunteer, etc.) is eligible for membership. Membership includes 2 newsletters per year and notification of upcoming events. We have currently have 100+ paid members.

Membership in the Massawepie Alumni Association:

Annual dues: $15 ($25 for 2 years).

Special opportunity: A 1-year membership will be given free to any eligible person donating a total of $60 or more through the Alumni Association for the Massawepie "Square Foot" Equipment/Maintenance Endowment Fund and/or our 2025 Massawepie Capital Improvement Project: Updating the Camp Pioneer Sports Program Equipment.

Membership is good through June 30 each year and may be renewed at Beaver Weekend or by mail.
New memberships received after January 1 will be credited through June 30 of the following year.

The MSAA currently follows Rules of Operation last revised in 2021.

Massawepie is a Scouts BSA summer camp for the Seneca Waterways Council which serves youth in five counties near Rochester, New York: Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, & Yates counties. The Massawepie Scout Camps are located on New York State Route 3 between Cranberry Lake and Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
