JUNE, 2012, NEWS
The Annual Meeting of the Association at Beaver Weekend was a success. Here are some of the highlights:
Joe Varga volunteered to be the new Secretary and will also work on recruiting through social media.
Sean Glenney volunteered to become a Member-at-Large.
The slate of Officers and Exective Committee members as announced in the last issue of Beaver Tales,
plus Joe and Sean, was elected.
The proposed changes to our Rules of Operation were approved pending approval of the Camp Operations Committee.
One additional change to the Rules was also approved: The "dues year" will now be July 1 through June 30,
so that there is no lapse in membership for those who renew
just before, at, or just after our annual meeting during Beaver Weekend.
Thanks to the many MSAA members who attended Beaver Weekend and helped to get Massawepie in shape for the summer!
